Policy Review Update and Compliance Status
On April 10, 2025, the President's Cabinet approved comprehensive revisions to MGA Policy 2.1 Policy on Policies, which established significant modifications to institutional procedures and initiated a systematic review period for Sections 1-12 of the MGA Policy Manual. In adherence to the University's commitment to regular policy assessment and continuous improvement, the Office of the President, in consultation with the Cabinet and designated contributors from each division, has overseen the completion of this comprehensive review process.
The initial review of Finance policies contained in Section 7 was completed and acknowledged by July 31, 2025. Subsequently, during the President's Cabinet Retreat held August 19-20, 2025, Cabinet members formally acknowledged the completion of reviews for the remaining policy manual sections, demonstrating the University's dedication to systematic governance and regulatory compliance.
All subsequent policy modifications and approval processes will proceed in accordance with the established procedures outlined in Policy 2.1, ensuring institutional consistency and transparency. Updates to existing policies and newly Proposed Policies continue to be documented and made available for campus community review through the Policy Manual's public access portal, maintaining the University's commitment to shared governance and stakeholder engagement in the policy development process.
