Overview
The Middle Georgia State University (MGA) Policy Manual is maintained and updated by the Office of the President in consultation with the Cabinet and designated contributors from each division of the university. It is published electronically.
Middle Georgia State University is a component of the Board of Regents (BOR) of the University System of Georgia (USG) and operates in accordance with all policies and procedures established by the BOR as well as the University System Office (USO).
BOR/USO policy is considered primary and will prevail if there is a discrepancy between BOR/USO policy and MGA policy. BOR/USO policies are available in the BOR Policy Manual on the USG website.

Middle Georgia State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees.
