Middle Georgia State University has developed an Emergency Response Plan quick reference guide for employees. The guide is distributed to employees and is also available on the university’s website. Employees are encouraged to save this as a favorite on their computer.

In case of severe weather, employees should move to the shelter location for their building. The shelter locations can be found on the risk management website.

MGA has developed an emergency call tree that will be utilized to assist in responding to emergencies. If the call tree if activated, each employee should comply with the instructions provided.

The comprehensive Emergency Response Plan is coordinated by the Office of Risk Management with the appropriate executive level input. The comprehensive plan is available to employees that are in “need to know” positions.
