8.3.3 Leave – Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Middle Georgia State University (MGA) employees may be eligible for leave in accordance with the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) of 1993. Employees should consult BOR Policy 8.2.7.6 for additional information concerning FMLA.
Any employee requesting leave that qualifies as FMLA leave should contact the Office of Human Resources to obtain the necessary paperwork and guidance concerning the usage of FMLA leave.
