Recruitment

There will be no commission, bonus, or other incentive payment whatsoever provided for securing student enrollment of federal financial aid, including Tuition Assistance funds, to any person or persons involved in any student recruiting, admission activities, or decision-making regarding the awarding of student financial assistance.

In the recruiting process, it is expressly prohibited for any representative of the institution, regardless of their official position, to engage in high-pressure recruitment tactics. Such tactics include, but are not limited to: (a) making multiple (3 or more) unsolicited contacts via phone, email, video call, or in person, or (b) engaging in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing the enrollment of members of the Armed Services.

When recruiting and advising members of the Armed Services, such Service members must be directed to consult with their Educational Service Officer (ESO) or counselor in their Military Service before they are enrolled in the institution.

For students receiving Tuition Assistance, any unearned TA funds up through 60 percent of the period for which such finds were provided will be returned on a proportional basis. For more information about this policy visit the Bursar’s Office webpage regarding refunds
