Middle Georgia State University (MGA) hosts various camps on campus to serve as a recruitment tool for future students as well as providing a service to the community and state. Hosting camps during the summer months also provides additional revenues for the residence life and dining operations.

All camps must be coordinated through the Department of Auxiliary Services a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the camp date. Earlier advance coordination is preferred. Any camps held at MGA that involve minors must register the camp and go through the minors on campus approval process. See the Minors on Campus policy for more information.

The Auxiliary Camp department will manage all registrations, collection of funds, and remittance of funds for any camp hosted by an MGA unit or MGA employee. Camps conducted by outside entities will contract with the Auxiliary Camp department and may manage their own registrations or may contract with the Auxiliary Camp department to manage registrations for an additional fee. For more information, visit the MGA Camps webpage.
